Introductory Prices 2005-2006
Day 1: Arrive Managua
Overnight at Los Robles.
Day 2: Managua-Leon
Morning city tour of Managua. After
lunch drive to Leon, stopping en route to experience the the ruins of
Leon Viejo. Overnight at Hotel
El Convento, in Leon. (B,L)
Day 3: Leon
In the morning explore Leon with your
guide. Then, in the afternoon see the geysers of San Jacinto. Overnight
at Hotel El Convento. (B,L)
Day 4: Leon-Granada
After breakfast drive to the town of Masaya to visit the markets where
Nicaraguan crafts (and most everything else) are sold. Then on to the
“Pueblos Blancos,” the cradle
of Nicaragua’s craft tradition. Mid to late afternoon in Granada.
Overnight at Casona de las Estrada.

Day 5: Granada
Morning horse drawn carriage tour of Granada. Afternoon boat tour of Lake
Nicaragua. Overnight Casona de las Estradas. (B,L)
Day 6: Granada
Morning visit to Mombacho Volcano. Afternoon free to explore Granada on
your own. Overnight at Casona de las Estrada. (B,L)
Day 7: Granada-Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Lodge
Early morning departure for the drive to make to make the ferry to Ometepe
Island. All day to explore Ometepe.
Return on the ferry and drive to Morgan’s Rock. Overnight at Morgans’s
Rock Hacienda & Lodge. (B,L,D)
Days 8-10: Morgan's Rock
Days at leisure or participating in optional activities (at additional
cost) at Morgan's Rock. (B,L,D)
Day 11: Departure
Drive to airport for your return flight. (B)

itinerary: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner. All land transportation. Taxes

otherwise specified. Tax increases or new taxes charged for services that

Costs of obtaining passports, visas or tourist cards (Tourist cards US$5.00
